1. engine control node disconnected from the network. 2. the engine control node fails to transmit data on CAN correctly. 3. check the diagnosis on the engine control unit. 4. ABS control unit faulty. The reason for this fault is that the ecu did not receivesignal from the sensor. The fault is present now. Take appropriate action to fix this

Ducato 2,3 JTD my: 2006 No glowing at all, has P0380 and P0683 fault. As I see all live data about temperature is fine. Checked plugs, 0.9 Ohm all, checked at end of wire at glow relay too. Checked supply it is stable. Checked ground it is ok. Ckecked all other wires ok. Changed relay for a new one, it is the same.
Fiat Ducato glow plugs replacement - Steptoe. '98 model then, on these there is only one 'glow plug' located in the inlet manifold. It comes into operation at less that 4 degrees C IMRC and injects a small amount of diesel into the manifold and then sets light to it. This sequence is initiated by a controller which could equally well have failed.
When the garage tested my glow plug they used a massive multimeter to test the current draw of said plug. I forget the exact amount of amps, but it was around 25 if I remember rightly, which they said was fine. A normal test meter isn't up to the job because of the massive currents involved, it needs a special meter.
If you started the van in very frosty conditions you may have blown a fuse. Check the ones under the bonnet left hand side. Replace fuse. (20 amp) Start van. lights will still be on. switch off. Turn on ignition but do not start, wait about 30 secs lights should go out. this is a common enough fault with the Ducato.
