If I could have one wish granted to make the game even better, it would be a new optional difficulty mode. Lets just for fun call it "Survival". Make things even deadlier than on Expert, and make everything scarce. Alot lesser events, alot lesser resources, alot lesser enemies (atleast after you have cleared the area camp) and alot lesser animals.

It's fun no doubt, but mad laid back. I'm playing on expert with no HUD or assistance as well as trying not to use hunter vision. 5 ZkarRilo • 8 yr. ago
It depends on what you're looking for. The game is not the fun sandbox farcry use to be, it's closer to 2, more survival. I would say "no", but it can be a "yes" if you don't like farcry. It's the best use of fire in the series. I think how you feel about that might help inform ones decision.
I have only ever played Far Cry 3 before Primal (I skipped 4). Primal seems like a reskin of 3 for the most part. It's one that I really like, but it's not very different from a game from several
I've been playing Far Cry Primal on expert, survivor, permadeath for ages now. I've lost count of the amount of times I've died, and the number of hours (days) I've actually put into it. I loved the whole idea that the world is so dangerous, with the cold, and the wild beasts all ready to take your life away if you were careless.
The first night I spent in Far Cry Primal was long, dark and dangerous. I was AFRAID to leave the safety of the bonfire. But after getting my first beast, well, the difficulty dropped off rather significantly. I'd like to see the nights remain dangerous to move around in even with a beast (that isn't punishing like the harder difficulty modes).
reply. It's skyrim without guns. reply Reply reply More replies. Only negative for me was the primal talking, all jibberish and annoying. reply. I watch anime in Sub so I was able to get the hang of it. reply More replies. Underrated and it deserves more recognition IMO. I beat the campaign but now I’m going back and trying to get 100%.
Far Cry Primal is the earliest setting in the franchise by a marginal gap.It offers a unique experience to gamers, setting itself in approximately 10,000 BC after the last Ice Age. Likewise, it
